Their role goes beyond leading a workout. They explain movements, offer guidance, and help you find an appropriate challenge, whether you’re new to a class or have been training for years.

Personal guidance

Experience with a personal approach.

Small classes give our instructors the opportunity to get to know participants and understand what they’re working towards. There’s time for questions, encouragement, and the guidance that helps you make progress.

Every instructor brings a different background and approach. What connects them is thoughtful instruction and a genuine interest in the people in their classes.

My love for movement started in 2016 with my first Iyengar Yoga teacher training, and I haven’t stopped learning (or moving!) since!

That passion led me to more yoga teacher training in 2018, Flow in 2020, Yin in 2021, Mat Pilates in 2025, and Reformer Pilates in 2026.

And somewhere along the way, I fell in love with boxing and kickboxing in 2024, while also exploring jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai. Boxing definitely stole my heart! 🥊

For me, movement has never been about competing with others. It’s about staying curious, stepping outside our comfort zones, having fun, and discovering what we’re capable of.

At 50, I’m still learning, growing, and challenging myself. Because age doesn’t define our limits, and there’s always room to evolve!

My hope is that we keep moving, learning, laughing, and getting stronger together. Every age. Every generation. 🤍

After completing his TT in Los Angeles in 2013, Matt has attended a variety of yoga and other movement based trainings to amplify his own personal practice, as well as add to his teaching toolbox. It’s no surprise that his teaching style is quite eclectic and includes all aspects of what interests him… Sports, Martial Arts and Music to name a few.

His classes are led with exuberance; playful yet mindful. He is constantly looking to keep things fresh for the everyday yogi, as well as seeking out ways to make newcomers feel safe, supported and celebrated… just as he once was.

From the corporate world to the fitness studio… now that's a career pivot!

After over 20 years working in pharmaceutical drug development, Kim decided it was time to trade conference calls and deadlines for playlists, spin bikes, and a whole lot more fun.

What started as a love of group fitness turned into something she never quite expected — a passion for teaching, connecting with people, and being part of an incredible fitness community.

For Kim, the best part of any class isn't just the workout (although a great playlist certainly helps!). It's the people. The familiar faces, the laughs, the encouragement, and that amazing energy that happens when everyone comes together to move.

And that's how Studio Mouvélo came to life. Mouvélo is Kim's way of creating a space where people feel welcome, challenged, connected, and excited to come back.

As a spin instructor, Kim loves great music (yes, you CAN spin to classic rock!), a good sweat, and making sure everyone leaves class feeling a little stronger and a whole lot happier.

New career. Same drive. A whole lot more passion.

And the best part? Getting to share it with all of you.

For Chris, fitness is about more than just building strength. It's about challenging yourself, gaining confidence, and discovering what you're truly capable of.

With a lifelong passion for sports and athletics, Chris has experienced both the highs and challenges of an active lifestyle. Years of playing hockey and skiing took a toll on his body, leading to multiple surgeries and physical setbacks. Eventually at 260 pounds, he reached a turning point when he winded himself doing something as simple as tying his shoes.

Determined to regain his health and fitness, Chris lost an incredible 75 pounds in just seven months, reigniting his passion for training and pushing his limits.

At 47, he completed his first Spartan race, and now, at 51, he continues to participate in Spartan races every year.

His journey inspired him to share his passion for fitness and help others discover their own potential.

As a TRX instructor, Chris brings energy, encouragement, humour, and a genuine understanding that everyone's fitness journey is different.

Whether you're new to fitness or looking for a challenge, his classes offer a welcoming atmosphere, great music, a few laughs, and workouts designed to build strength, balance, core stability, and confidence.

Chris's philosophy is simple: Everyone starts somewhere. What matters isn't where you begin, but that you're willing to try, challenge yourself, and keep moving forward.
